42 and counting

42 years ago on this very day I became a husband and promised to love and cherish My wife through rich and poor ( and its been mostly poor) through sickness and in health (and luckily its been healthy, touch wood) as long as we both shall live and we're still both here, So I count my blessings and hope lots more of you shared the same experience , It takes commitment , working, sharing and a good helping of luck too. Its not a date in the calendar that others will remember because other occasions take priority , birthdays . Christmas, Easter, etc so getting a card from a near one will make the day special,

Thanks everyone Tommy Tee, I was Born in Billinge lived there till I was 10 then moved to Bryn, Next move was to near you at Elliot Dr, then Back to Bryn at Nicol Mere Dr, Then to Poolstock Lane in 2004 , anyones guess from here

Me mum lived near to Nicol Mere Drive, she would have been there when you were there

Yea Tommy Elliot drive, those 3 storey flats that ran along side of the brook, I had a top story flat, Typical single blokes flat , No fineries , just a cooker, fridge, telly, I slept on a mattress on't floor, no carpets or curtains, Untill I met another resident who also had a flat but better domesticated , She invited me to share her flat, she house trained me and about 5 years later, We married,
